You will need to find two fixed points from which to hang your hammock. Try trees, beams or posts on your verandah, dyna bolts into brick walls (consult a builder if you are unsure).

It is important to attach one or both ends to a higher point to give the hammock some shape. The easiest way to determine where to hang your hammock is by holding the hammock in place before you attach any fixings.
